We are an Anglican Church in the Villa Park neighborhood in south-west Denver.  We seek to share in the life of God together by re-defining and re-orienting everything around the gospel of Jesus Christ. We follow a liturgical form of worship and welcome friends, neighbors, and strangers alike.

Holy Week Services

Holy Week Schedule Banner 2021.png

Palm Sunday - Join us at our regular Sunday morning service times (9am or 10:45am)! Sign up will be sent out via email and will be first-come, first-serve. Please arrive early to this service and claim your seat in the sanctuary, as we will begin our service outside and then process into the sanctuary.

Maundy Thursday - Join us for services at 5:30pm or 7pm! Childcare will be available for nursery age (6mo-2yrs) kids at the 5:30pm service. Older kids, bring your art supplies, as we will have a related image for you to color during the service! Sign up will be sent out via email and will be first-come, first-serve.

Good Friday - Artists and creatives within our Advent community have put together a pre-recorded service which will follow the Stations of the Cross. We will premiere this video on our AdventDenver YouTube channel at 7pm, and we’d invite you to watch it with us then!

Easter Sunday - We plan to gather at 10am at Morse Park (8180 W. 20th Ave.), in order to safely worship with as many of our family as possible. We will also be celebrating the baptisms of Silas and Iris, and enjoying a picnic lunch together after the service! And kids—you can look forward to an Easter egg hunt after lunch!

  • Bring: chairs, blankets, picnic, drinks, bells or chimes to ring when we finally get to proclaim “Hallelujah!,” and an Easter egg basket for the hunt.

  • Directions: We will be meeting at the large pavilion at the north-west corner of Morse park. We’d suggest parking at the parking lot off of Carr St. (between 19th and 20th), but if this lot fills up, there is street parking, as well as another parking lot to the East, off of 20th. See map below.

  • Liturgy: Here is the liturgy we will be using for this service!

  • Sign up: We are currently limited to 100 people at Morse Park, so we will send out a sign up via email. We will invite any people on the waitlist to join, if JeffCo restrictions are lifted beyond 50% capacity prior to Easter. If we end up having to move the service indoors due to weather, we will send an email with a sign up for our indoor service options.

If you have questions about any of these services, please email our Connecting Pastor, Stacey Cooper, at office@adventdenver.com.
