We are an Anglican Church in the Villa Park neighborhood in south-west Denver.  We seek to share in the life of God together by re-defining and re-orienting everything around the gospel of Jesus Christ. We follow a liturgical form of worship and welcome friends, neighbors, and strangers alike.

Gospel Friendship

What are Gospel Friendships?

Gospel Friendships are a powerful mechanism for our growth in Christ. In Gospel Friendships, we share in each other’s joys, sorrows, hopes, and fears—seeking to listen for, and point each other to, the voice of Jesus (the Gospel). We celebrate the ways we see Jesus working in each other’s lives. Basically, a Gospel Friendship is one in which we are seeking to help each other redefine and reorient our lives around the gospel of Jesus Christ—knowing God as our Father and ourselves as His children, and all that means. This page can help you get started in a Gospel Friendship, but if you need more guidance, feel free to contact us.

You can also walk through Relational Discipleship together, if you want a curriculum to help you jump in.,

Walls

We all face struggles and get stuck in various forms of sin. In a Gospel Friendship, we do not shy away from acknowledging, confessing, and repenting of the walls we experience in life.

Doors

Amidst the walls we are facing, Jesus is knocking at the door (see Revelation 3:20). He wants to enter into the realities of our life to be with us. In Gospel Friendships, we point one another to the gospel, reminding each other how Jesus is with us and for us amidst our sorrows, struggles, and sins.

Tables

When we open the door to Jesus by faith, he comes in to eat with us. We have been invited to a feast. The glory of God’s heavenly banquet can be tasted even now as we delight in the truth of the gospel, grow in the grace of the gospel, and enjoy the many gifts God has given to us in this life. Together, we celebrate the grace of Jesus in each others’ lives.
