On March 11, 2020, the WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic, and on March 13, our country officially entered a national emergency. Two years later, we have adapted a new kind of coping, and we face varying degrees of burn-out, weariness and despair. What better time than Lent to enter a special space, focused on grieving the losses, injustices, and anxieties of the past two years.
We invite you to spend the evening with us intentionally attending to the state of our souls; the goal is not to easily fix but to simply be together. Through art, poetry, song and story we will explore the varying emotions that arise and give space to “come as you are.”
We invite people on all stages of their faith journey to enter this space free of judgement. There will be invitations to engage different activities but you will also be free to solely sit and receive.
So, join us. RSVP below. But invite others and come last minute regardless! (your email will only be used to send a reminder and will not be stored)
If you would like to attend but would need childcare, please indicate that as well.
