We are an Anglican Church in the Villa Park neighborhood in south-west Denver.  We seek to share in the life of God together by re-defining and re-orienting everything around the gospel of Jesus Christ. We follow a liturgical form of worship and welcome friends, neighbors, and strangers alike.

We plan to give the kids an experience similar to our Morning Prayer, which we have been streaming via YouTube. We are working on providing a virtual children's church experience via YouTube. Be on the lookout for an invitation with date and time.

In addition, here are some resources connected to the current curriculum we use at church:

Jesus Storybook Bible Audio by Sally Loyd-Jones

Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing by Sally Loyd-Jones

Saint Matthews Curriculum - This is the curriculum used for Advent's elementary age children. Kids may enjoy downloading the dramatization part of the lesson to put on skits for the family at home.

At-Home Tips (from Advent homeschoolers and educators):

Structure. Kids enjoy knowing what to expect in their days. Think about how to structure the week with learning time, playtime, and quiet time.

Scholastic Digital Hub

Create stations that can be easily accessed by children. For example:

  • Art station, full of supplies

  • Reading corner with selected books

  • A place to listen to or play music

  • Building Station with blocks and/or Legos

  • Dress Up Bin with past costumes, scarves, hats

Lots of outside time. Think recess or nature walks. Fortunately, we are having some great weather right now.

Some kids are no longer napping, but they still need quiet and alone time. When naps stopped in our house, we moved to I-time (not i-Pads or i-Phones) but a period of time to be quiet in our rooms for everyone.
